Anthony Cathey’s passion for real estate and selling businesses started in the Big Apple New York City where he lived most of his life. For 5 years, Anthony worked as a licensed real estate agent structuring large transactions to acquire apartment buildings and commercial shopping centers for investor clients. Success followed and he loved every minute of it!
After the 1987 stock market crash, Anthony transitioned into the role of mortgage loan originator for a large Savings & Loan Bank on Long Island. In 2005, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia to personally invest in the real estate market, acquiring over 15 investment properties. As an entrepreneur and business owner himself, Anthony knows the toil, trouble and joy that comes with running your own successful business. Along his entrepreneurial journey he has purchased and sold several retail businesses and assisted other business owners as a business broker in the sale of their companies.
In addition, Anthony spent 5 years as a hard money broker helping real estate investors source funds to purchase investment properties. Within that same line of work, he secured funding for business owners who were in the need for business capital to facilitate expansion and for purchasing more equipment and/or inventory. To date, Anthony has closed over 100 real estate transactions and helped fund over $10,000,000 in loans. When he says he loves real estate, he means all areas of the business.
Most recently, after living in Atlanta for 15 years, Anthony decided to make his final move across country to the city of Las Vegas, where he has acquired his Real Estate License and Business Broker permit to pursue his first passion … selling real estate and selling businesses. With his broad range of expertise in real estate, financing and brokerage and his undoubted passion for the industry, Anthony is an asset to any business owner or investor looking to buy, sell or plan for an exit or acquisition.
